Windfall

I went for the Righteous out of several reasons:

1. I REALLY, REALLY hate the empire, and working for the Righteous seemed as the closest thing to working against the empire.

2. I agree with their point of view on the situation.

3. I figured that I would make a LOT of money by killing Varo's Knights and looting their homes.

4. If the Varo's Knights win, everything stays the same, but if the Righteous win, you have a new goverment, a new laws, new privileges, and a new count.

5. And what I really hoped for at the beginning, a grand-scale revolution that would shake the very foundations of the empire, and knock them down if possible.

first go through picked the righteous but ending up wanting to slap stilus! so went through the varo knights second time through. My character is a rich, aristocratic assassin, so it was a good choice.

I definitely would rather work for Brend than Stilus. Both are similar except everyone can see Brend for what he is: a pompous dolt. Stilus hides his revengeful nature behind by pretending to be champion a good cause. This causes me to like Brend better. Satisfaction was met upon Stilus' dead body.

I chose the righteous when I started in windfall. Mainly Because I didn't like the sound of how Brend was treating people. And the Saint (Stilus) seemed a better choice. I still haven't finished the mod though. I realized I was helping Stilus during the quest where you have to go to the Old Silver Mine and find the good that were being snuck through the sewers by the knights to evade taxes. I happened upon a sewer entrance to an abandoned house and decided to investigate and ended up finding the Saint and his diary.

After speaking with quite a few of the towns folk and shop keepers, I initially chose to side with the Righteous. The mistreatment of the peasants and the apparent lack of competence on the part of the ruling party were the deciding factors. As Champion of Cyrodiil, I felt compelled to get to the bottom of the cause of the rebellion and do everything within my power to see that justice prevailed. Naturally I wanted to just blend in and get a feel for the pulse of the people, so I left my Imperial Dragon Armor at home and donned attire more suitable to the task. Of course the legionnaires managed to recognize me on occasion despite my best efforts to be discreet
Seriously though, absolutely fantastic mod! Just finished the main quest, many side quests still pending, may have to roll a necromancer just to do the Order of the Candle quests, not sure if my warrior will be able to resist the urge to eradicate those grave robbing, death loving...ahem, sorry. Will definitely have to play through main quest again starting with the Knights so as not to miss out on seeing the other side. Thanks for this amazing addition to Oblivion!

I am just starting the mod and have done a few quests. I agree that the poor need more help. I am kind of walk the line between the two yet. I am not sure which I am going to join. I also agree that my character should join the knights....but I am not sure yet. I think I know who the Saint is....but it is just a feeling. I will let you know when I decide for sure.
