Windfall

This is mostly my curosity.

If you have started the mod then you know that there are two faction to choose from. You can join Varo's Knights and support the ligitimate governement. Or you can join The Righteous and support the rebellion. Obviously, I have been through both sides for testing, but I am curious about what decision you made.

I played both and I was more entertained with the wealthy faction. The character I played with was intended to be moderately evil and the intro to the faction sounded like a perfect fit.

You went through both? in a week? Wow! Did you play the Order of the Candle Quests? Sorry just curious.

Finished the Order of the Candle missions last night. Just gotta say outstanding work on this mod. It will remain among my favorites no doubt.

I chose the righteous, ,mostly beacuse it sounded more fun to help the peasants and fight a bunch of knights than to gang up with some knights to kill some poor people. I have not yet tried out the Order of the Candle quests, i will as soon as i have finished the main story with the rightous.

But so far it is one of the best mods i have played, superb work guys.

I supported the Righteous; after talking to the people, Brend didn't sound like a very good ruler and I was curious about the Saint.

I choose the Righteous in the beginning. They seemed to need my help the most.

The Righteous seem the more preferable choice by default.
Somehow the Knights do not seem to have anything going for them, except the claim of their leader.
Would it be possible to somehow balance these out? So the player at the beginning has to chose a faction a bit more blindly?

Varo's Knights ofcourse, since my character is already a count of Kvatch. and therefore usually supports the nobility.

i went with the knights because (i like power and figured the poor didnt have any) i had over 200,000 gold coins and i didnt think that i would be considered poor

I went with the Knights, despite its questionable..tendencies, legitimacy is better than an illegitimate government.

And generally in my role as Champion, I generally support the nobility.
